Laura is also an influential speaker at safety conferences and serves on the IOSH Nominations Committee, contributing to their strategic appointments, as well as sitting on the editorial board for The Sentinel magazine.

Her extensive network enhances our recruitment processes, and she leads our HSE Leaders Connect community to support continuous professional development for safety professionals.

Additionally, Laura manages our corporate partnerships with organisations such as IIRSM, IOSH, RoSPA, and Pinsent Masons, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the HSE sector. Recognised for her impact on the industry, Laura has been named one of the Most Influential People in Safety by SHP Online.

Aisling Reid has specialised in recruiting Health, Safety, and Environmental professionals, primarily in Manufacturing and Engineering since 2015.

Starting her career as a junior consultant, Aisling has steadily advanced to her current role as Head of Recruitment, where she leads the HSE team while continuing to provide exceptional service to her clients as a highly experienced consultant.

Throughout her career, Aisling has placed over 100 candidates in roles ranging from Advisor to Director level. Her extensive experience in the market allows her to understand the nuances of each vacancy she works on, effectively navigate challenges, and provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.

Sophia is a Senior Consultant with extensive experience recruiting interim and permanent Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professionals within the FMCG sector.

Since joining HSE Recruitment Network in 2016, she’s established a strong track record of successfully placing HSE professionals at all levels for a diverse range of clients, in industries such as Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Packaging, Tobacco, and Paper Production. Her deep industry knowledge and proactive engagement with the HSE community enable her to maintain valuable connections with stand-out professionals.

Sophia’s success is attributed to her meticulous search process, which prioritises cultural fit and technical expertise to ensure lasting placements. By discerning the difference between good and exceptional safety professionals, she’s become a trusted partner for businesses seeking top talent in the FMCG sector. Ellesse joined the HSE team at the start of 2026 as our Senior Consultant specialising in recruitment for Sustainability professionals across Construction, Civil Engineering and Energy & Utilities.

With a strong background in niche markets and finance, Ellesse brings a commercially informed approach to recruitment. She has successfully delivered high-impact hires across sustainability, environmental, renewable energy, investment banking, private equity, and commercial finance on a global scale. Ellesse has a proven track record of placing high-calibre professionals across junior, mid-level, and senior leadership roles, including Directors, CFOs, and SVPs, and is recognised for her ability to navigate complex requirements and deliver long-term, strategic solutions for both clients and candidates.

Simon specialises in recruiting Sustainability and Environmental professionals, primarily within the Manufacturing and Logistics sectors.

With seven years of recruitment expertise, he excels in connecting high-calibre professionals with roles that drive meaningful progress in sustainability and environmental initiatives. Simon is passionate about fostering partnerships aligning with client goals and industry advancements, ensuring a positive impact on the sectors he serves.

Mason joined HSE recruitment in May 2025 after working in the Property Services and Construction sector for three years, recruiting both Blue Collar and White-Collar professionals. He is now fully focusing on Health and Safety within the construction sector.

A focus of Mason’s is to bring expert market knowledge to clients to show the importance of Health and Safety in the Construction industry and ensure that when working with HSE they're getting the best possible outcome that aligns with their goals.

Frida joined the HSE team with a strong background in research and contract recruitment across the technical sector in Northern Europe and the UK. She brings a commercially focused mindset and a solid understanding of contract hiring.

Her experience spans industries including technology, automotive, manufacturing, and media, where she has successfully placed talent at both mid-level and leadership positions.

Recognised for her ability to quickly grasp complex and time-sensitive hiring needs, Frida takes a solution-driven approach, building long-term value for both clients and candidates.

Siobhan Oerlemans leads the HSE Recruitment Network in Europe, bringing over 18 years of international recruitment experience across the UK, Europe, and Asia.

She specialises in placing mid-to-senior level HSE professionals within high-risk industries such as Offshore, Oil and Gas, Construction, and Manufacturing, with a focus on the Netherlands and broader European markets. Her previous role as an in-house talent acquisition partner for a global FTSE100 company gives her valuable insight into the challenges faced by internal recruitment teams.

Known for her strategic approach and commitment to long-term partnerships, Siobhan is passionate about connecting outstanding talent with businesses that prioritise safety and operational excellence. Her extensive industry knowledge and global perspective make her an invaluable resource for clients and candidates navigating the complexities of European HSE recruitment.

Lauren joined the group in 2013, transitioning to Head of Client Engagement and Marketing in 2020.

In this role, she leads a dynamic team while overseeing HSE Recruitment Network's comprehensive strategy for communications, sales automation, marketing, and events. Lauren also provides our valued client portfolio with cutting-edge market intelligence through meticulously crafted whitepapers and industry insights.

By spearheading the organisation of a diverse range of events, both in-person and online, she fosters meaningful connections and knowledge sharing within our professional community.

Matt joined the Pertemps Network Group in January 2000 and established the Executive Network Group later that year.

As managing director of ENG and a main board director of Pertemps, he’s played a pivotal role in defining group strategy, and his forward-thinking approach has ensured ENG remained a high-growth, profitable, and resilient business over the past 25 years.

Inspired by a pursuit of excellence and driven by ENG's core values, Matt builds partnerships and collaborations that empower our team, allowing ENG to fulfil its mission to “make recruitment better.”

Chris joined the Executive Network Group in October 2004, initially focusing on senior appointments in the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability sectors, before broadening his expertise to include HR and wider corporate functions from 2011. He became a share-holding Director of ENG and its subsidiary brands in 2014.

Chris dedicates his time to enhancing operational excellence across ENG’s service lines, supported by a strong emphasis on client feedback and insight. He also focuses on forming strategic partnerships with key industry influencers, particularly in the energy and utilities, and industry and commerce sectors, in support of ENG’s diverse client networks.

Nina joined the Executive Network Group in 2002 and currently leads the centralised Business Support team, enabling HSE Recruitment Network and our sister brands to deliver exceptional service across the UK and internationally.

As operations director, she oversees various critical functions, including payroll, compliance, IT, and process management, whilst also driving ENG’s ‘Thrive’ initiative – a programme aimed at supporting every individual ENG team member’s physical, mental, nutritional, and financial well-being.

Since joining the team in 2012, Paige has been a vital contributor to the HSE Recruitment Network. She manages key functions such as payroll, invoicing, and office management, while also coordinating HSE’s interim executives and independent consultants.

Paige oversees compliance and administration, ensuring that our business runs effectively, and her commitment to excellence not only enhances our operational efficiency but also contributes to the exceptional service we provide.
